When The Headline Just Doesn’t Say What You Want It To Say, CHANGE IT!

By
The BEFORE AND AFTER for a Dogsbite.org Supporter Facebook page:
Since the death of the 8-year old Jayla Rodriquez, on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota, Oglala Sioux officials rounded up and killed NUMEROUS stray dogs. What does numerous mean? Well according to Deputy John Mousseau, a “horse trailer full of dead dogs”. The killing of these stray dogs according to a resident portrays “gestapo tactics”.  One dog was shot right in front of it’s owner, while another dog was taken from a home, unannounced since the dog was a blood hound/Pit Mix (Houston Chronicles, 2014). Keep in mind, while researching for our previous article, while viewing numerous YouTube videos, we did not see any Pit Bull’s on the videos.
The Houston Chronicle headline on November 23, 1014 Read

“Tribe rounds up and kills dogs after girl’s death”

The above headline to the Houston Chronicles just doesn’t help Dogsbite.org Supporters for their BSL cause. So what will help their cause, CHANGING THE HEADLINE of course! Take a look at Mellie’s Facebook page, Walk for Victims of Pit Bulls and Other Dangerous Dogs.
AFTER:

“Tribe rounds up and kills pit bull and other dangerous dogs after girl’s death”

DBO
Now is Mellie sure they killed Pit Bulls? Is Mellie sure all the dogs they killed were dangerous?? The answer is NO, but the Houston Chronicle’s article just doesn’t have the shock and awe they needed. Once again, LIES coming from Dogsbite.org supporters, not to mention organizers of the Walks too. We will just have to file this little observation in the file, the file marked LIES!
