Harve Morgan I also went to the Antioch Animal Services page and commented. That is a government run agency, note their mission statement has no mention of public health and safety.

Laila Brunet I'd rather pay a 500$ adoption fee than adopt a pitbull even if its adoption fee is 14$. I don't wat to risk my safety, other people's and especially other dogs' because of the gameness, dog aggression, serious injury risks. Good luck to those pitbulls and especially good luck to the adpters and their pets and families. Hope it's a good one that doesn't go "off".

Latricia Mayer Just went thru the same thing with a local post changing the pit bull ban here in my small town. Hang in there Dawn Morrow..if we can educate or save even one life it's worth it. Andy Kliene Wow the number of cats they display on the page is underwhelming, to say the least. I think they dedicated an entire sentence to one photo. Obviously shelters need to specialize if animal lovers want 'rescue equality'. Anybody feel like starting a movement?

Jane Shryock I had just finished reading the only comment on there in support of them and wrote this, as it seemed fitting:
The statements made here by people against the breed are eloquently written, with good grammar and punctuation, as well as easily backed information. I find it hilarious how the only comment in support of these animals was written poorly by a person who clearly has no education on the subject. It really shows a lot about the typical pit bull fan.

They use those comments to determine whether they write another story in the same vein or a different vein. We may not have any money to back ourselves, we have so much more.
